GGTM Re-Opening
On March 24, Executive Order 2020-21 closed Gielow, Groom, Terpstra & McEvoy’s main office at 281 Seminole Road, Norton Shores, Michigan. Since then, our attorneys, paralegals and staff have been working remotely and limiting in-person visits to our office for essential purposes only. Subsequent Executive Orders have loosened restrictions on office work allowing us to partially return to our normal work environment.
Because we value highly the health and safety of our employees and clients, we have adopted policies and procedures intended to protect all of us within the office space during this period of transition. All employees are required to wear facemasks when in common spaces, wash or disinfect their hands frequently, and maintain 6 feet social distancing. Any employee who is experiencing or has come into contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with or is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms has been directed to not come into the office.
For the time being, clients will be welcomed to visit our office by appointment only. This will allow us time to clean and disinfect our lobby and conference rooms between appointments. Please be assured that our attorneys will continue to be widely available via email or phone, and meetings may still be conducted remotely via Facebook or Zoom.
All in-person meetings will occur in one of our conference rooms, which will be sanitized prior and after each meeting. In addition, to ensure our employees remain safe, we request that any client visiting for an in-person meeting complies with the following requirements: remain at least 6 feet apart from all GGTM employees, wear a facemask while inside the office, and use the hand sanitizer we will have available outside our elevator. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with somebody with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 within the past 2 weeks, please reschedule your appointment.
