GGTM OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENT
In response to the rapidly developing news of coronavirus/COVID-19, we at Gielow, Groom, Terpstra & McEvoy would like to reiterate our firm commitment to serving you. As such, during this crisis, GGTM will be available to respond to your legal needs.
We value the health and safety of both you and our employees highly, so we are prepared to manage this crisis and still ensure you receive the same high-quality service we have always provided. However, we encourage contact with our attorneys and staff by telephone and email. Virtual meeting options are also available for scheduling.
Currently, in cooperation with recommendations to limit personal contact, we are not scheduling any in-person meetings and are doing our best to re-schedule current meetings, particularly with vulnerable, at-risk individuals. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), at-risk individuals are generally older adults and people with serious chronic medical conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease. We request that any interaction with our staff or attorneys be by standard remote communication, such as telephone and email if at all possible, even if you are not yet exhibiting any symptoms of coronavirus/COVID-19. CDC states that symptoms generally include fever, coughing, and shortness of breath. In addition, the CDC has issued guidance regarding how to protect yourself if you are not sick and how to aid in preventing the spread of this virus. This is a community-wide effort, and we must all do our parts. At GGTM, we are actively sanitizing all door-handles and common areas in the GGTM office, we are regularly washing our hands and have provided hand sanitizers for each attorney and staff-member for use at their desks, and we have notified all attorneys and staff-members that they are to remain home if they or a member of their household is sick.
